World Suicide Prevention Week

by | Sep 11, 2015 | Resources | 0 comments

You may have heard its World Suicide Prevention Week. Suicide affects everyone in some way, and it is not selfish to admit that. Suicide is a word we rarely give ourselves permission to say. It’s hard to face rejection as it is acceptance. I’m trained in ASIST suicide prevention skills. This is a message to my dear friends: You can talk to me about suicide. Call me, text me, Facebook me.
And a message to others: Do you need someone to talk to? Do you need help right now? There is someone you can talk to at any time or day in the year.
